Replacing heavier wood-blinds with normal slat size, these blinds are a good fit and certainly have worked as described thus far. The blinds appear quite light and hopefully are not flimsy, but the material of the individual mini-blind blades or slats is quite readily deform-able and it is quite necessary to avoid much by the way of any shearing force as they might kink, though perhaps not break. The mechanism for opening and closing the louver is workable, though getting the wand hook to insert through the small loop is a tight going which is negotiated with only some significant effort and repeated attempts. It is not that the opening is too small in the loop, but that the hook is nearly closed and the tip requires almost a prying effort to get it to slip about the loop so that it can even engage the loop.I have no other problem with the unit in installation and none since that in the routine operation. Appearance is fine. Durability will remain to be seen.The original blind we purchased had several slats that broke while installing. 100% my fault but the company immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. The new blind installed easily and works great.The first order came damaged. The seller prototype sent me replacements. I have not opened them yet, but the speed I. Which this was resolved was amazing.I am very happy with the blinds. They are exactly as described and light years cheaper that Home Depot.Used for large window in dining room. Covered entire span. Seems high quality. Cost is pretty high but couldn’t find anything else for a window of this size. Seems durable.The blinds were exactly the size requested after I followed their instructions for measuring. They look great and finish the room!The product was good, but the wand for opening & closing the blinds was defective. It had no hook at the end. I had to spend another 12 bucks to buy the correct wand on the Internet, With the new wand, the mini-blinds work well.These were the perfect size to replace the old blinds that were falling apart in our living room window. Luckily, even the existing brackets and supports we had already put up for the old blinds fit perfectly into these. Hard to find this size at any big box store so we appreciate the big selection of sizes available from this seller.I liked the blinds when purchased but was disappointed when two slats cracked in 7 months.
